Pastor Samuel Karanja

(Youth & Young Adult Pastor)

George and Moyra founded the church on September 5, 1993 while he was teaching at Northwest Bible College. He pastored and taught for 10 years till he resigned at the College to devote himself totally to the church.


They have been married since 1972. They have 3 adult children, Nathan, Naomi, and Jeremy, and nine grandchildren: Jessalyn, Zachary, Emmy, Faith, Christian, Jael, Timothy, Bethany and Zoe. Moyra directs the NPA Inspiration Choir, teaches Ladies Morning Out and is the church secretary.


George received his B.A. (1972) from North Central Bible College in Mpls. Minn., his M.Div. (1977) from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Mpls. Minn., and his D.Min. (1993) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Ill.

Pastor Naomi received her Bachelor of Religious Education (1999) from Northwest Bible College. She was our Children's Pastor from 1997 to 2006 and also Children's Pastor at The King's Community Church (Assembly of God) in Aberdeen, Scotland for 2007 - 2008. 


Naomi has a great love for children and she became our Children & Family Ministries Pastor in August 2009. In December 2011, Naomi's role was changed to Assistant Pastor while still overseeing children & family ministries. Naomi and her husband Jonathan have three children, Faith, Christian and Jael. 


Pastor Jonathan has a passion for studying the Word of God. He is our part-time teaching pastor and also teaches at Vanguard College as primary faculty.


Jonathan's degrees include a B. Th. (Pastoral Ministries Major), Northwest Bible College; M. Div., Taylor Seminary; M. Th (Biblical Studies Major), Newman Theological College; PhD (Divinity - New Testament), University of Aberdeen.

Pastor Sam has received his Bachelor of Theology Degree (2013) from Vanguard College, and a Master of Arts in Leadership (2015) from Trinity Western University.


Joining our team in September 2013, Sam teaches, preaches and plans events for our Youth and Young Adults. 


Pastor Sam married his sweetheart, Ashley, in July 2015.
